Coaching a few minutes from the town centre
Olga’s home courts are at Pirton Tennis Club, in the village just north-west of Hitchin. For anyone in Hitchin it is a short drive out, and the courts share the town’s SG5 postcode district. There is parking at the recreation ground, which makes evening lessons after work straightforward.
Both courts are floodlit. In practice that means lessons carry on through the darker months instead of stopping in October, which is when most people lose whatever they built up over the summer.
Who it's for
Every level. Complete beginners who have never held a racket, adults coming back to the game after years away, juniors, and club players who want a specific part of their game looked at. Olga has spent the last sixteen years coaching in this corner of Hertfordshire, so she has seen most starting points.
Lessons are built around the player rather than a fixed syllabus. A first session is usually as much about working out what you want from your tennis as it is about hitting balls.
One-to-one or in a group
One-to-one lessons are £40 an hour and get you Olga’s full attention, which is the fastest way to fix something that has become a habit. Group sessions cost less per player and suit friends, families or a few club members who play together anyway. See full prices.
