She comes to you
Harpenden is close enough to Wheathampstead that travelling to a lesson is rarely the awkward part. If you play at a club in or around Harpenden and can get court time, Olga will meet you there. If you have a court at home, she will come to that instead, which is often the easiest option of all for families.
The alternative is to come to her: two floodlit courts at Pirton Tennis Club, up past Luton and Hitchin. Some Harpenden players do make the trip, particularly for winter evening sessions under the floodlights.
Adults picking the game back up
A good part of Olga’s Harpenden-area work is adults returning to tennis. People who played at school or university, stopped for twenty years, and now want to join in properly rather than embarrass themselves in a club social. Sessions in that situation are relaxed and start with getting you rallying comfortably again.
For players who are already competitive, the work looks different: serve mechanics, groundstroke consistency, and the tactical side of match play.
Juniors
Olga is accredited to coach children as well as adults, and is safeguarding and first-aid trained. Junior lessons are patient and unhurried. There is more on the junior coaching page.
